A nosebleed is the relatively common occurrence of hemorrhage from the nose, usually noticed when the blood drains out through the nostril.
There may be several reasons for nose bleeding like infection, allergy, sinusitis, high blood pressure or even heart failure. However, in large number of cases nose bleeding occurs due to dryness in the nasal lining. Especially the changes in weather leads to excessive dryness in the nose and a little picking or rubbing of the nose leads to bleeding. Allergy may also cause nose bleeding. It should be remembered that a significant number of nose bleed occurs with no obvious cause.

Extract the juice of some Basil leaves. Put two to three drops in each nostril. This stops the bleeding.
Bandage dipped in ice cold water should be applied on the nose and forehead of the patient. It gives relief.

Make a paste of green coriander leaves. Apply it on the forehead. Also the patient should be made to inhale the aroma of fresh coriander leaves.

Grapes are very beneficial in all types of bleeding problems. Take grapes juice with little honey to get rid of nose bleeding.
Gulqand is a sweet preserve of rose petals. Taking one teaspoon gulqand twice a day prevents the problem of nose bleeding.
Similarly, taking one teaspoon of amla murabba in the morning helps.
