Buy shoes in afternoon or evening when the feet are swollen with the days walking. This will ensure that you get the right fit and size.

Apply a little petroleum jelly inside your new shoes and let it remain for the night. This softens the shoes but clean them before wearing. Similarly, applying coconut oil also helps.

If you got heel shoes then apply some potato slices on the heel area inside the shoe for two consecutive nights.

Turmeric and Neem

This remedy gives relief from the pain of shoe bite and also dries up the blister. Take a handful of fresh neem leaves. Put in a grinder. Add a tablespoon of turmeric powder and grind the mixture with the help of little water. Apply this thick paste on the shoe bites to get wonderful result.

Rice

Take half cup of rice and grind it to fine powder. Add little water to make a paste. Apply this paste on the shoe bites. Let it dry then, wash with luke warm water. It is a very effective remedy to cure shoe bites.
